Small image experiment with SVG's bump-mapping bitmap filters. Only 10 lines of SVG and 3 lines of scripting are really needed.
Try URL to some other picture, confirm and watch the effect. Best results are with some 3D models bitmaps, common photos are not very suitable, but sometimes produce funny effect... ;-)
I preselected some images (mostly from http://graphics.stanford.edu/data/3Dscanrep/ and http://www.fallingpixel.com/products) for you and they are available for clicking below the image with applied filter.
Known to be working well with Opera and Firefox browsers, not Chrome nor MSIE yet, sorry... :-(
